Installation at Shedhalle — Oct - Dec 2020

Cancel-culture began as a vigilante strategy for demanding accountability from powerful previously inaccessible people. However, as folks rush to be the first to spot a mistake the tactic has all but lost its democratic justice impetus and is now increasingly becoming an unreflective method for bullying and shaming within communities.

Embracing Complexity introduces Drago’s concept of Radical Sociability, a strategy for enacting an intersectional affinity-based sociability to counter the toxicity of cancel-culture.
